LUVO MANYONGA WINS SA SPORTS STAR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Born in Paarl on 8 January 1991, Manyonga, a track and field athlete whose specialty is long jump, was awarded as South Africa’s Sports Star of the Year. He also earned a gold medal at the IAAF World Championships in London.

CYRIL RAMAPHOSA IS ELECTED AS THE NEW LEADER OF THE ANC

Bringing Zuma’s leadership to an end, Ramaphosa takes over as the 14th president South Africa’s ruling party ANC.

DEMI-LEIGH NEL-PETERS CROWNED MISS UNIVERSE 2017

Born on the 28th of June 1995 in Sedgefield, Western Cape, Peters at the age of 22 was crowned as Miss Universe.

VIRAL DANCE VIDEO

Filmed in Cape Town’s Foreshore Rudi Smit and his dance crew created a 1minute long dance video that was aimed to get its viewers in the “the summer vibe”.
