The highly anticipated annual Cape Town Carnival was held on Saturday 17 March. This year’s theme “Mother City, Mother Nature” inspired 1 500 performers in 43 performing groups to create amazing floats and costumes in the celebration of “the transformative power of creativity and our African identity with its diverse array of communities and cultures”.
The Fan Walk that took place in Green Point was a huge success as spectators joined in on the fun and celebration.
